Changes to the Boomerang Books Blog

You may have noticed that we have changed our blog.
The central Boomerang Books Blog has undergone an overhaul and has been shifted to http://blog.boomerangbooks.com.au. The RSS feed for this blog remains as http://feeds.feedburner.com/boomerangbooks
Our other blogs – Kid’s Book Capers, Literary Clutter, Read Up On It, The Book Thief – have been incorporated into the central blog – so now you will see all Boomerang bloggers in the one place.
For those of you who view blog posts via RSS, you should make sure that you subscribe to http://feeds.feedburner.com/boomerangbooks. We’ll be turning off the old blog RSS feeds on 12 August.
You can also subscribe via email by using the subscription box on the right hand side of this page – it’s a convenient way to stay informed about book news, reviews and releases.

I know you’re just trying to improve things, but I’m really not enjoying the single blog experience. I can’t get an rss feed for just the bloggers I’m interested in and so now my rss feed is filled up with a whole lot of content I’m not really interested in (e.g. children’s books). It makes the blog feel a lot like I’m being spammed and leaves me feeling much less interested in reading it if I have to sift through to look for the things I’m actually interested in.

Hi Penny,
Thanks for your comment. It’s actually possible to get a feed for each of the authors that you like.
For example, if you like Fiona Crawford, then you can access her feed here: http://blog.boomerangbooks.com.au/author/fcrawford/feed
Just add /feed to the relevant author page (accessible from the right hand side of the blog) and you will see an RSS feed for that author.
To help out, I will add a link to the author’s RSS feed on each of the author pages.
